I respect the functionality of this bread keading-specific bottom-drive bowl. It is a classic design and it clearly works.However, I am not a big fan of the cover, it is fiddly and it rattles. Also overall the bowl's cost seems excessive as it does not offer markedly greater functionality or ease of cleaning versus the bowl that ships with Bosch mixers.So, it works but you basically don't need it because it does not specifically work better. I admit it looks very nice.Also it does not lock on to the mixer like the new bowls do. Which I get it, it's an old-school design still the same and works with decades old Bosch units too. But still it would be nice if it locked on or there was a version that did lock on and had a better lid, that would be nice and make it worth the asking price.No leftover dough in bowl after mixingLove this bowl. I bought it as a replacement for an old one that kept "jumping off" the motor. This bowl is great! I make bread with 5 lbs of flour and it is able to mix and knead the dough very well.It's the best.This is a great bowl. It's not as versatile as the plastic one because it doesn't have the "tower" in the middle that allows you to use the cookie paddles, whisks, or conventional dough hooks, but it is great at what it does. It processes heavy dough very well. It is very sturdy and doesn't deform even with a full bowl of stiff bread dough. It's really easy to clean too.I have one and bought this for my son’s birthday. Love it.Good mixer. If kneading bagels you will need to buy the stainless bowl (WITHOUT CENER COLUMN)Excellent
